A Food Establishment Permit is to ensure a facility meets the Texas Food Establishment Rules and applicable city ordinances. The Permit is good for 1 year and is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Permit fees vary by type of establishment and whether or not it is located within the Corsicana City Limits. Please contact Health Department for more information.
Mobile Food Unit (MFU) permits are for vehicle-mounted food establishments that are designed to be readily moveable. Temporary/Event Permits are for those who are wanting to operate no more than five consecutive days for an event/celebration and only one temporary permit a month. All applications and documents MUST be submitted 10 days prior to the event. The fee for a temporary permit is $100 per booth for day 1 and $30 for each additional day.

What are Inspection Scores? The inspection scores only represent a snapshot of the facility at the time of inspection. Scoring is based on critical vs. non critical violations. Our Health Inspector does inspections for Food Establishments and Mobile Food Units.
